Year 11 is a short and intense three terms of study. In Term 4, students commence their HSC year. Our students are focused and have chosen academic subjects and are bound to succeed in the HSC 2022.
The Year 11 Camp comes early in the school year in March, and at the final camp of their school life, students enjoy the experiences organised for them: from rock climbing to abseiling, raft building, archery, surf skiing and more.
Students studying VET (Vocational Educational and Training), Hospitality and Entertainment will take part in a work placement program. Entertainment students work at the Royal Easter Show and Hospitality students are placed in commercial kitchens in the local area.
These students learn valuable ‘real life’ work skills while on work placement, with some students attaining part-time jobs after a rewarding Work Experience Week last year.
Your Year 11 advisor is here to guide and encourage you throughout Year 11 as well as your Stage 6 Head Teacher, Mr Clint Johnson. Both are committed to assisting all Year 11 students meet their potential.
